Job Description:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting function, encompassing tasks such as month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliation, fixed assets registration, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing.
  • Supervise and ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly and yearly financial reports, including specific management reports for submission to local management, regional finance, or HQ.
  • Ensure that the entity's financial statements adhere to corporate financial reporting policies, standards, and local regulatory requirements.
  • Offer strategic financial guidance to senior management and cross-functional teams, utilizing financial insights to drive operational efficiency, cost optimization, and revenue growth.
  • Manage cash flow, credit control, and monitor the collection of accounts receivable.
  • Review and submit GST returns on a quarterly basis.
  • Take responsibility for ensuring that year-end audits and tax computations are completed within specified timelines.
  • Lead efforts to improve processes continuously and regularly review and enhance internal control processes, promoting the digitization of finance processes.
  • Play a hands-on role in the annual budget planning process, including preparing budget submissions, conducting variance analysis, and continually updating forecasts.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure compliance with corporate accounting and tax requirements.
  • Interface with bankers to resolve any banking-related issues.
  • Handle any ad hoc assignments or tasks delegated by the CFO and Regional Finance team.
Job Requirements:
  • Hold a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience as a Finance Manager.
  • Previous experience in the logistics/supply chain industry is advantageous.
  • Possess a recognized degree in Accountancy or ACCA, or equivalent field of study.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
  • Ability to effectively multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment without compromising attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Displays a keen eagerness to learn and is naturally curious.
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills. Demonstrates strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Demonstrates initiative in problem-solving and decision-making, offering innovative solutions that foster a collaborative team environment leading to successful outcomes.
