- Design and implement robust data architecture to support our business intelligence and analytics needs.
- Administer, maintain, and support multiple databases across our enterprise environment.
- Lead data warehousing efforts to consolidate various data sources into a streamlined and efficient data storage solution.
- Develop and optimize data models to improve database performance and support complex data analysis.
- Implement data governance protocols to ensure data quality and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with the IT engineering teams to build pipelines for data integration and transformation.
- Manage data migration projects, ensuring seamless data transfer between systems with minimal downtime.
- Ability to create/manage data visualization dashboards and reports using Looker and Qliksense to support decision-making processes.
- Utilize AWS services or similar for database management, ensuring scalability and security in the cloud.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Data Architecture.
- Extensive experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools and methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing principles and hands-on experience with warehousing technologies.
- Expertise in data modeling techniques and tools.
- Understanding of data governance frameworks and experience in implementing such measures.
- Ability to design and manage data migration strategies effectively.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Looker and Qliksense.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and familiarity with its database services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus, but not required
- Relevant certifications in database administration, data architecture, or cloud services are a plus.
