Purpose:As the Director of Franchise Training at Edible Brands, you will play a pivotal role as a Senior individual contributor in shaping the future of our franchise network. This position is not just about design and development; it's about rolling up your sleeves to design and develop brand-new training programs to ensure our franchisees receive top-notch training and support whether you’re delivering the training yourself or facilitating train-the-trainer initiatives.You will have a big impact on brand standard initiatives for continuous improvement and elevation of operations across the Edible franchise system by leading and executing multi-tiered, integrated, and year-round training programs for every audience in the brand including field team members, store managers, franchisee owners, regional business managers, and corporate employees.You will closely partner with Operations, Business Development, Innovation, Marketing, Technology, and the leadership team to ensure we deliver learning programs that achieve successful sales, profits, and high customer satisfaction.Location: This position will be based onsite out of our home office in Sandy Springs, GA.What that looks like day to day:
  • Develop and lead a fully integrated franchise training and development program with innovative, effective, and engaging content using a variety of learning modalities, including but not limited to, eLearning and Instructor-led training
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate franchise training and development programs and instructional content focused on customer service, leadership, and operational excellence.
  • Assess and re-shape curriculum and content for franchisee training programs as needed, including the new store opening process and store manager training.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners to design and develop training in support of Go-To-Market initiatives.
  • Execute innovative training and development best practices measured by key business results, employee and guest loyalty and retention, and talent development industry recognition.
  • Proactively drive and support change management programs and tactics to facilitate the implementation of new programs, processes, and initiatives that support the brand strategy, goals, and leadership priorities.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years' experience in end-to-end experience designing, developing facilitating, and analyzing multi-unit training programs, customer service, and retail training highly preferred
  • Experience in the Retail and Food industry is highly preferred
  • Formal hands-on Instructional Design education/certification and experience are highly desirable
  • Experience and willingness to facilitate training directly to small, and larger audiences
  • Master's degree in organizational development or training & development a plus
