Job ExpectationsWe have an exciting new opportunity at nbn, for a Manager Critical Infrastructure reporting to the Executive Manager Critical Infrastructure.A bit about your roleAs the Manager Critical Infrastructure, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliable operation and governing the maintenance, and expansion activities of critical equipment within nbn core infrastructure. This is a crucial role and will be accountable for infrastructure oversight, stakeholder collaboration, risk management, budget management.Your expertise in industrial electronics or similar area and stakeholder management will be fundamental to the success of our operations. While experience in data centre management, building management systems (BMS) and program logical controllers (PLC) is a plus, we are primarily interested in your ability to oversee the seamless functionality of nbn critical infrastructure.A bit about youExperience: You possess a strong background in industrial electronics, with a proven track record of managing and maintaining operations of critical network and infrastructure. Knowledge in BMS, PLCs, and experience within a data centre environment is an added advantage.Technical Skills: Your proficiency in control systems engineering, maintenance procedures, and design of electrical and control systems will contribute significantly to our operations.Relationship Building: Your exceptional ability to manage relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, is highly valued. You are adept at collaborating with IT, field teams, engineering teams, and external suppliers to drive results and maintain high service standards.Interests: An interest in the world of data centres, and a desire to grow in this area, will be a strong fit for this role.Life at nbnTo be part of nbn is to be part of something bigger.
