  • Bachelor degree / Higher Diploma form a Hong Kong tertiary education institution, or equivalent; majoring in Library Science / Computer Science / Information Technology / Web Design or related disciplines;
  • A minimum of 1-year post-qualification full-time work experience, preferably in web design and web administration;
  • Knowledge of Web Accessibility, Adobe Suite and MS office applications and experience in using HTML, CSS JavaScript and website content management system to manage websites would be an advantage; and
  • Good command in spoken and written English and Chinses, with Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the HKDSEE or the equivalent in the HKCEE.
Job duties:
  • To provide hotline desk services to answer enquiries from library staff on problems relating to the library websites including system communication, hardware, software, and other system related errors;
  • To update content of library website as requested with the Website Content Management System (WCMS), Enterprise Content Management (ECM) tool or other adopted systems in the existing system and Smart Library System.
  • To assist in the user acceptance test and other related works for the new features or library websites as well as other library IT project;
  • To report guidelines relating to content updating at library websites;
  • To participate into meetings, discussions and coordination works in connection to the performance of library websites and related systems; and
  • To perform other relevant duties as assigned.
