You will pioneer a groundbreaking reusable metrics framework for our Research Indicators domain. You will ensure consistent, dataset-agnostic metrics application. Your work will directly contribute to the Academic Evaluation Framework (AEF) and equip researchers with unparalleled data analysis capabilities.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping and implementing a groundbreaking reusable metrics framework for research indicators within the Research Data Platform (RDP)Ensuring methodologies are consistent and transferable across a wide variety of datasetsDriving the creation of metrics and indicators that empower end consumers to extract valuable insights from the RDP dataFostering a culture of consistent, data-driven analysis that aligns perfectly with the AEF's goalsEstablishing and enforcing rigorous data quality standards for research indicators within the RDPEnsuring the reliability and trustworthiness of insights generated across all datasetsDeveloping data products and metrics that not only enhance user value but also contribute to revenue-generation strategiesRequirementsDemonstrate experience in product management, ideally within the data or information services industryPossess a track record of developing and implementing successful metrics frameworks with a focus on reusabilityHave in-depth understanding of research data methodologies and best practicesBe knowledgeable of data APIs, data governance frameworks, and data security principlesPossess excellent analytical skills and experience with data visualization toolsHave exceptional leadership and communication capabilities to foster collaboration across diverse teams within ElsevierEnjoy partnering with various teams to identify and integrate existing metrics development efforts, ensuring seamless integrationEnjoy working closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with user needs, broader objectives, and the consistent application of metrics across datasetsWork in a way that works for youWe promote a healthy work/life balance across the organisation.
