- Operating a Triumph Laser machine.
- Machine Setup: Prepare laser cutting machines for operation by setting up appropriate tooling, selecting correct cutting parameters, and loading materials onto the machine bed.
- Programming: Create or load computer-aided design (CAD) files into the machine's software and program cutting paths, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the cutting process.
- Machine Operation: Operate laser cutting machines to accurately cut metal parts according to specifications, monitoring the process to ensure quality and making adjustments as needed.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished parts for quality defects, such as burrs, dross, or deviations from specifications, and make adjustments to the machine settings or cutting process to correct any issues.
- Material Handling: Handle and transport metal materials safely and efficiently, including loading and unloading materials onto the machine, and organizing materials in the work area.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance tasks on laser cutting equipment, such as cleaning lenses and replacing consumable parts, and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or technical issues that arise during operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe operating procedures for the machines.
- At least 2 years’ experience in operating a Triumph Laser Cutting machine – ESSENTIAL
- Experience working in a Multi metals environment.
