- Providing technical support on algae-based ingredients in aquaculture feed formulation, focusing on nutrition, health benefits, and performance outcomes.
- Designing and leading product trials in aquaculture settings (e.g., fish and shrimp farms), evaluating ingredient efficacy and overall fish health benefits.
- Developing species-specific feeding protocols to optimize algae ingredient usage, with consideration for environmental sustainability.
- Engaging with industry stakeholders, research institutions, and customers to stay ahead of industry trends and innovations.
- Representing Corbion at aquaculture conferences, trade shows, and technical workshops to share insights and promote our solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, business development, and regulatory, to align technical and business goals.
- Supporting product development and launches, as well as contributing to business development pipelines.
- A Master’s or PhD in Aquaculture, Marine Biology, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of technical experience in aquaculture, with a focus on algae-based or alternative ingredients.
- Hands-on experience conducting product trials and providing technical support to aquaculture producers, especially in salmon farming.
- Strong understanding of Omega-3 (DHA, EPA) and their nutritional impact on aquaculture species.
- Proficiency in feed formulation and aquaculture production systems.
- A collaborative mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build long-term relationships.
