They ensure accuracy, reliability, and safety, approving designs and facilitating communication. Additionally, they assist in manufacturing and troubleshooting site installation and commissioning issues.Key components we are looking for:
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License preferred.
- Extensive and demonstrated experience in data center electrical design.
- Proficient in CAD/BIM software.
- Strong grasp of electrical principles and standards.
- Experience in high-density data centers.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and codes.
- Skilled in fast-track project management.
- Expertise in critical electrical equipment.
- Familiarity with medium to high voltage systems.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems.
- Experience in regulatory negotiations.
- Mastery knowledge and proficiency in:
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint)
- PDF Editor (Adobe, Foxit, or other equivalent)
- ETAP
- Dialux
- Operational knowledge in:
- SAP (ERP Tool w/ Engineering Modules and Transactions)
- Solid Works
- Autodesk Revit
- Autodesk BIM 360
- Autodesk AutoCAD
- Navisworks Manager / Freedom
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Prepare Technical Requisitions for electrical and fire systems, and review vendor quotations.
- Complete electrical engineering deliverables such as load lists, cable sizing, and single-line diagrams.
- Design earthing protection and lighting systems, and prepare material take-offs and bill of materials.
- Innovatively find cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and schedule.
- Stay updated on industry developments and recommend changes.
- Independently execute assignments and make decisions on technical problems.
- Analyze electrical systems for optimization and stay current with data center technologies.
- Represent the company with clients, providing technical support during the construction and commissioning phases.
