As a fully qualified Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the scientific minds of the next generation. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons in biology, chemistry, and physics to students at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Through innovative teaching methods and hands-on experimentation, you will inspire curiosity, deepen understanding, and cultivate a love for the sciences among our diverse student body.Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver dynamic lessons that cater to the individual needs and abilities of students.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching resources and technology to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.
  • Engage with parents and guardians to foster strong partnerships in support of student success.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Science specialism with a solid understanding of biology, chemistry, and physics.
  • Previous experience teaching Science at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
