A talented Financial Accountant is required by a successful and growing company who provide services and products to the music industry. This will be an office based position based in the city. This position will have responsibility for full lifecycle management accounts, revenue analysis and forecasting.Any experience in, or a passion for the music industry would be advantageousThe successful applicant will work closely with the senior management and the existing finance team and relevant stakeholders in the company. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, reporting and preparation of statements while partnering with the wider group to drive commercial improvements.While formal accounting qualifications would be advantageous, applications from QBE candidates with a passion for music will be welcomed.A salary of up to £48,000 is available depending on experience.This is an office based position.What you will be doing;
  • To be responsible for the general financial management of the company.
  • Monthly management accounts.
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Coordinating and directing the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Publish timely monthly financial forecasts.
  • The development of internal control policies and procedures
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
What you need;
  • Proven working experience as a Management Accountant
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Experience with creating financial statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month / year end close process.
  • A passion or experience of the music industry
