- Upscaling Existing Accounts: Enhancing existing client relationships by driving additional sales, cross-selling, and upselling managed cloud and AI services.
- Ensuring Customer Satisfaction: Managing key client relationships, handling escalations, and ensuring high customer retention rates.
- Strategic Leadership: Leading the business development team with a clear focus on commercial strategy, market expansion, and revenue growth.
- Develop and implement business development strategies that drive revenue growth and expand Core42’s portfolio offerings.
- Identify and pursue high-value opportunities in the public, enterprise, and SMB sectors.
- Expand the company’s presence in government and enterprise markets, leveraging local UAE market knowledge and business connections.
- Lead the business development team to secure new deals and partnerships.
- Oversee sales strategy execution to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed.
- Establish and maintain long-term partnerships with key government and enterprise stakeholders.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring mutual profitability and strategic alignment.
- Represent Core42 at industry conferences, government forums, and networking events to enhance the company’s local market influence.
- Conduct research to identify customer pain points, emerging AI infrastructure trends, and competitor activities in the UAE.
- Provide strategic recommendations to guide product development and marketing initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and contribute to the business development team, ensuring high performance and goal achievement.
- Set measurable KPIs for lead generation, conversion rates, and revenue growth.
- Foster a results-driven and collaborative work culture within the business development unit.
- Work closely with Sales, Solutioning, Marketing, product development, and operations teams to align business development efforts with overall company objectives.
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on market trends, partnership opportunities, and competitive positioning.
- Evaluate and analyze potential partnerships to determine strategic fit and long-term value.
- Conduct due diligence on potential partners, ensuring alignment with Core42’s business goals.
- Develop integration strategies for new partnerships, ensuring smooth execution and long-term success.
- Comply with applicable laws, regulations, international standards, and Core42 Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure adherence to Core42’s Acceptable Use Policy.
- Attend mandatory information security, privacy, business continuity, and HSE training.
- Report information security and HSE incidents or suspected incidents through Core42’s established incident reporting channels.
- Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive business information.
- Classify and handle all information as per Core42’s information security and data privacy policies.
- 10+ years in business development, sales, or a related role—preferably within AI cloud, sovereign cloud, or enterprise technology sectors.
- Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role, managing teams and strategic initiatives.
- Proven ability to secure high-value contracts and drive revenue growth in public and enterprise sectors.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence executive-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience leading business development teams and executing revenue growth strategies.
- Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships with government and enterprise leaders in the UAE.
- UAE-based Emirati candidate preferred, with an established network within government, enterprise, and key business sectors.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is mandatory to effectively engage with local clients and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and business development platforms.
- Industry Knowledge:
- Familiarity with AI cloud infrastructure, HPC, and digital transformation technologies.
- Experience in government contracting and enterprise sales within the UAE.
- Additional Certifications:
- Certifications relevant to business development, sales strategy, or executive leadership.
- Government & Enterprise Relations:
- Existing relationships with UAE government entities and enterprise clients.
- Market Influence:
- Ability to drive AI adoption and influence policy discussions in AI infrastructure within the region.
