Why does this job exist and why is it critical?​We are looking for a high-performing sales leader to undertake account management responsibilities and supervise a team of Account Managers. An effective sales leader has great aptitude in building and maintaining customer relationships. They also possess excellent planning and leadership abilities to coordinate and advise account managers and relevant stakeholders.You will help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping Maxis competitive and innovative. The goal is to ensure the Maxis’ retention of clientele and facilitate further growth.What are you accountable for?
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing a team of Mid Market Account Managers
  • Objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of account managers
  • Strong Funnel Management for Account team
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that broadens account coverage and ensure Maxis strong presence
  • Understand customer requirements and needs to offer suitable solutions and generate new business
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships to gather market insights and build industry intelligence
  • Present sales and revenue reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Developing your account team through motivation, counseling and product knowledge education
  • Ensure pipeline in CRM are diligently updated by team – consistently putting new opportunities week on week AND progressing the opportunity sales motion from creation to closing.
  • Manage Account plans for all assigned customers.
  • Collaborate with Regional HOS channel team to grow customer wallet share.
  • Manage and drive every opportunity to closure with a close plan with sales team
  • Working closely with product team in identifying segments of customers to grow new revenue
What do you need to have for this role?
  • BS/MS degree in business administration or a related field
  • Relevant years of work experience in sales, management, and key account management
  • People management skills is an advantage
  • Self-motivated and self-directed, with excellent interpersonal relationship skills
  • Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into execution strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
