- Analyze, design, build, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance warehouse functional solutions leveraging SAP EWM and other system integrations where necessary.
- Assist in defining business processes and recommend solutions to help streamline those processes.
- Design and configure SAP EWM functionalities, including inbound and outbound processes, warehouse structures, storage types, storage bins, and warehouse processes.
- Configure inbound processes such as goods receipt, putaway strategies, quality inspections, and cross-docking to optimize warehouse operations.
- Configure outbound processes including order fulfillment, picking strategies, packing, staging, and shipping to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Configure physical inventory management processes such as cycle count.
- Advanced SAP EWM configuration and overall SAP product knowledge and have proven ability to share expertise within and across team and organization
- Perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirements.
- Configure system features as per business requirements and create documentation, including functional specifications, test planning and execution.
- Coordinate and lead user acceptance tests with various groups to ensure the quality of developed solutions.
- Deliver solutions that can be scaled globally and maximize value and minimize duplication of solutions.
- Collaborate with Wolfspeed Support teams and business stakeholders to troubleshoot issues.
- Support End User Training on new system functionality.
- Advanced Ariba configuration and overall product knowledge and have proven ability to share expertise within and across team and organization.
- Communicate and obtain buy-in from internal and external stakeholders for Ariba design (covering people, process, and technology).
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance is maintained for all supported systems.
- Facilitate workshops to collect business requirements.
- Track/Manage changes or emergency transports as needed for high priority issues.
- Document functional designs, test cases and results.
- Gain understanding of company products, functions, marketing, and/or service policies and procedures.
- Proactively identify and propose business process and/or system enhancements.
- Act as a liaison between the business functions and the technical team.
- Act as mentor to junior team members.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years’ hands-on experience in Solution Design, Configuration, Implementation and Support of SAP EWM and associated modules with a strong background in ERP application development
- In-depth knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, including warehouse structure, goods receipt, goods issue, inventory management, product / shipping labels, inventory batch management, handling unit configuration, and RF framework. Experience working with warehouse peripherals (ex: scanners, printers, RFID) is a plus.
- Experience in integration of SAP EWM processes with relevant SD, MM, PP, FI/CO functions.
- Proven track record in supporting warehouse operations, transportation, and factory operations customers.
- Knowledge on the RICEFW objects and experience drafting functional & technical specifications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Proven ability to deliver in fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of the reporting objects and previous experience producing functional & technical specifications
- Understanding of planning, manufacturing, and cost accounting business processes
- Experience working with 3PLs
