Senior Landscape Architect - LVIA experience

- Undertake site survey and analysis in the field.
- Produce and/or oversee the production of reports, drawings and other technical documentation, with the necessary level of detail for various stages of development, assessment and design.
- Be client facing and respond to client requirements with the support of senior staff.
- Clear communication, including the ability to contribute to conference calls, meetings and workshops.
- Technical ability, knowledge and competence to provide guidance to teach and develop junior staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Be aware of and understand the AECOM procedures, their importance and their application to projects.
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute, ideally with at least two years post Chartership experience, although more recently qualified candidates with excellent technical abilities will be considered.
- Technically competent in preparing LVIA/TVIA and appraisals and evidence-base documents in accordance with best practice.
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the UK planning systems with respect to landscape architecture. Understanding of Irish planning system also beneficial.
- An understanding of project management, including financial control and reporting and programme management.
- Fluency in English and ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
- Experience of some or all of the following useful: ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civils 3D, Revit, LSS or ProjectWise.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Landscape Institute accredited Bachelor's degree, Diploma and/or Master's degree.
