As an Assembly operative, you will be working on remanufactured products for both British Army.You will be working on Large V8 & V12 Engines from bare castings and individual components into a finished product.Additional InfoOn the job training will be given for every aspect of this job role, which will also include online training. A full training plan will be established, with regular reviews taking place to ensure the successful candidate is developing as planned.What You Will DoSub-Assembly Engine ComponentsDis-assemble CV8 & CV12 EngineFollow Work InstructionIdentify Parts for SalvageManaging Parts for SalvageSuggest process improvements.May have to work in Asbestos Controlled area (Training Given)What You HaveA modern apprenticeship, NVQ or equivalent experience - All three of these will be taken into consideration.The ability work with SWES documentation, written and verbal instructions.A knowledge of Engines, this is a desirable attribute.Good experience with hand, air and measuring tools.Engineering, workshop or manufacturing backgroundThe attitude to develop both personally and professionally in a fast paced, continually growing team.What You Will GetThe successful candidate will be joining an established with a lot of experience, working on product for the British military. In this role you will get the opportunity to develop your skills on a number of different processes which is reflective in not only being able to climb the pay grades at that level but sets you up for future career development within Caterpillar.
