- Degree in a relevant Building Services Engineering subject.
- Student/Graduate CIBSE/IET Membership is preferable, with desire and motivation to work towards professional accreditation.
- Competent user of Microsoft Office programmes.
- The ability to demonstrate a highly motivated, pro-active approach to work matters.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Have experience of using industry standard software, including AutoCAD and
- Hevacomp/IES/TAS/Relux/Dialux, to produce drawings and design calculations.
- Assisting with preparation of design calculations utilising both industry standard software and spreadsheets.
- Produce tender documentation to include drawings, specifications, risk assessments and pricing schedules.
- Carry out site surveys and complete feasibility reports and budget costs.
- Accompany Senior Engineers to client/design team meetings, recording minutes.
- Understand and work in accordance with regulations, standards and guidance, including Building regulations and CIBSE guides.
- Maintain service quality standards and a culture of continuous improvement and constructive expertise.
- Participate in relevant internal/external training initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry issues and developments in best practice, in particular focussing on Net Zero initiatives and low carbon technologies.
- Communicate and interact with others coherently, in accordance with the organisation's values.
