GRS Recruitment are working in close partnership with an international Forex broker based in Central Limassol who are searching for a Head of Finance to join their team. For this role we are searching for a talented individual with a solid background heading up a finance team with ideally previous experience working in the Forex sector. If this sounds like the opportunity we look forward to receiving your CV.MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and oversee the financial planning process, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.Control all financial transactions and accountancy matters, including audit systems.Manage financial planning and related on-going reporting to the Senior Management.Formulate financial targets in accordance with the strategy determined by the Board.Formulate annual budgets and prepare/submit weekly and monthly updates.Manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, insurance/ risk management, equity and acquisitions, as appropriate and ensure regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met regarding all company’s financial affairs.Review company’s accounts, investigate variances and set recovery plans.Contribute to setting annual cost rates and prices for customers.Work with various departments to assist them plan and manage their own budgets.Manage liquidity, cash flow, and foreign exchange transactions to optimize financial performance.Maintain relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure terms for funding and foreign exchange transactions.Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.CANDIDATE PROFILEA bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field is required.Substantial experience in finance, preferably within the forex industry or a related financial services sector, is essential. Experience with trading platforms, forex operations, and risk management is highly valuable.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations.
