Job descriptionKS3/4 Mathematics Teacher – Bury – Se[tember startProspero Teaching is looking for a Mathematics Teacher for a long term role, starting September 2024 at a popular ‘good’ school in Bury. You will be working alongside a very dedicated & supportive department and you will be responsible for teaching Mathematics, both to KS3 and KS4. This timetable would be suitable for an ECT looking for support with their Induction terms, or a more experienced colleague looking for a long term supply booking. There is a possibility of the post becoming permanent for September 2025.The Maths department, although fairly small, is a welcoming department with a long-standing Head of Faculty in situ. Results have been steady for the last three/four years but SLT have accepted they need to improve and this is part of the action plan for the wider school improvement.The position is open to NQT’s/ECT’s and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILSLocation Bury

UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
Previous experience working in a UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Up to date prevent awareness & FGM training issued in the last 3 yearsTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Provide two professional child related references
