learn and grow with us.For an Operations Technician IIIResponsibilities/Expectations:Performs various tasks to safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting/supervising equipment and maintaining operation/technical standards and/or governmental requirementsResponsible for data analysis and collaboration with others to find solutions to technical or operational problemsFollows all Company policies and applies appropriate operating and maintenance proceduresAcquires knowledge of and adheres to requirements for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assetsMaintains general knowledge of site/location/equipment/specific permits and complianceCompletes assigned reports, logs and maintains accurate records of process operations and performance of preventative maintenance on equipmentSolves problems, troubleshoots, operates and maintains all natural gas processing plant equipment and facilitiesPerforms preventive compressor station and/or natural gas processing plant equipment and facilitiesVerifies, calibrates and validates gas flow measurement devices and equipmentAnalyzes data while collaborating with others to find solutions to technical or operational issuesAdheres to compliance and policies for safe and efficient operation of facilities, execution of tasks, protection of community, personnel, environment, and assetsMaintains and troubleshoots orifice and ultrasonic flow measurement system and analytical equipment for gas communication devices in SCADA systemOther duties as assignedEducation/Years of Experience:Required: High School Diploma/GED and minimum three (3) years of demonstrated ability as an operations technician or similar rolePreferred: Associates or 2-year technical degree and minimum two (2) years of multifaceted operations technician experience in the oil and gas industryPreferred: Experience performing mechanic duties on turbines/compressorsPreferred: Experience performing mechanic duties on centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, air compressors, and cooling fansPreferred: Experience with engine diagnostic tools and troubleshootingPhysical and Environment Work Requirements:Must be willing to:Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spacesCarry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as neededStand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of timeWork at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)Use hand toolsShift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:Available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arisesMay be required to work overtime, 10-12 hour shifts and travel between Williams locations with occasional overnight staysOther Requirements:Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving recordDemonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priorityProficiency in Microsoft Office Application and
