- Deploy customer infrastructure, security and cloud solutions based on designs provided by technical and solution architects
- Respond to and resolve incidents reported by clients through the company service centre, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements
- Conduct project milestone quality reviews to ensure the deliverable meets the relevant standard requirements
- Oversee engineering resources delivering customer projects, ensuring agreed practices are followed and solutions are delivered to the required specification
- Implement engineering resource designs, including testing and quality assurance of the installation of hardware, software and circuits within the company and the client's best practices and security protocols and within agreed milestones
- Attend client site meetings to ratify and scope changing business requirements and/or report on technical service performance key performance indicators
- Be prepared to champion changes to best practices and/or the education of the emerging technology solutions
- Actively participate in account discussions where technical awareness is needed to define a requirement or position a solution
- Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or a similar role
- Proven experience in cloud engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure
- Azure Administrator Associate (Required)
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert (Desirable) - or willing to work toward
- Candidates will be expected to hold or acquire further relevant qualifications over a 2-year period (e.g. Microsoft: Azure Network Engineer Associate, Microsoft: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Microsoft: Azure Developer Associate, PCAP: Certified Associate Python Programmer, VMware: VMware certified technical Associate - Datacentre, VMware: VMware Certified Professional - Datacentre)
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical consultants to work together on effective implementation of platforms
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and networking concepts
- Proficiency in Azure services, including computing, storage, networking, and security
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI, C# and/or Python) for automation
- Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines is an advantage
- Familiarity with Azure governance, policies, and resource management
- Knowledge of hybrid cloud configurations and on-premises integrations
