- Responsible for directing and coordinating compliance with all applicable standards such as CFR’s, EASA, C.A.S.E., AS9110C, CAAC, and other applicable customer requirements
- Ensures that all persons performing inspections under the repair station certificate and operations specifications meet the requirements of 14 CFR Part 145.155 Inspection personnel requirements
- Responsible for maintaining and implementing all procedures for Quality Control and Quality Assurance.
- Manages all Auditing and Inspection systems and activities
- Responsible for establishing, modifying, and developing all policies and procedures associated with the Training Program
- Maintains repair station manuals and ensures that the procedures for revising and notifying the certificate-holding district office of the revisions are established and up to date.
- Responsible for facilitating FAA/EASA/CAAC/AS9110 and Customer surveillance activities and assisting in obtaining responses to questions or requests for information
- Responsible for directing and monitoring the Safety Program and the Hazardous Waste Program
- Oversee front-end and back-end development teams and their projects
- Monitor reliability and performance of all internal systems to suggest improvements
- Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources
- Monitoring Airworthiness Directives for applicability and compliance
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or other relevant field
- 3-5 years of related quality control and assurance experience
- Must have proven experience in Part 145 aircraft maintenance, quality control, quality assurance, or inspection for an airline or MRO organization.
- Training or knowledge and experience in the performance of maintenance, preventive maintenance, or alterations authorized by the repair station certificate in accordance with Part 43.
- Thoroughly familiar with 14 CFR Parts 43 and 145, EASA Part 145, China CAAC, and AS9110C, C.A.S.E. 1A Standard.
- Verbal, written, and presentation skills necessary to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management.
- Airframe & Powerplant License (preferred)
