- Extensive experience and strong working knowledge in consumer, qualitative, and quantitative research
- Experience with data analysis to support and guide corporate strategy on a large scale
- Develops key insights into employee needs and experience to support and guide corporate strategy
- Monitors the success or failure of Partner communications, initiatives, campaigns, and strategies
- Serves as the subject matter expert in qualitative and quantitative methodologies, including focus groups, surveys, one-on-one interviews, working alongside Partners, diary studies, ethnographical studies, etc.
- Develop questions and create drafts for basic surveys, interviews, and focus groups
- Understands / develops research proposals and project scope for all Partner research with minimal direction
- Creates clear, concise, and evocative reports that tell the Partner story
- Thinks through problems and analyze issues accurately, as well as anticipates obstacles or setbacks; sets contingency plans as necessary with minimal supervision
- Creates and manages positive relationship with internal/external clients & stakeholders
- Ensures projects are executed on-time and within budget
- Collaborates on projects across departments that involve advancing the corporate strategies for Partners
- Update and maintain CRM and CDM tools and work with CRM/CDM tables for troubleshooting and testing
- Build customer & employee segments and run Partner communications
- General understanding of SQL scripting and Windows Task Scheduler to troubleshoot recurring data processing tasks in case of failure
- Keep up with workplace trends from notable sources (Glassdoor, etc.)
- Work independently with little to no supervision
- A related degree or comparable formal training, certification, or work experience (master’s degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience and strong working knowledge in consumer research / qualitative /quantitative research OR 10+ years of other relevant experience
- 7+ years of research/consulting experience
- Experience with database management software is a plus
- Experience successfully managing multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong listening skills (carefully and attentively listening to other opinions and ideas, without interrupting)
- Excellent verbal/written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Intermediate facilitating, moderating, or interviewing skills
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide relevant and actionable recommendations to research
- Bi-lingual (English – Spanish) skills (preferred)
- Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
- Travel frequently by car or plane with overnight stays for multiple days at a time
- Work extended hours
- Regularly lift 30 lbs or more
