As a Kitchen and Furniture Designer, you will be responsible for designing and creating bespoke kitchens and furniture pieces for clients. Our Client is a well established family run joinery business based in Dumfries.Responsibilities:Meet with clients to determine their specific requirements and preferences for their kitchen or furniture piece.Create designs and detailed plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software.Work with other members of the design team to ensure the design meets the client's requirements and budget.Prepare cost estimates and quotations for the project.Liaise with the production team to ensure the design is manufactured to the required standards and specifications.Ensure the design complies with health and safety regulations and building codes.Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in kitchen and furniture design.Requirements:Excellent knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) software.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.If you are a highly creative and experienced Kitchen and Furniture Designer, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
