- Shock Absorber Tuning: Fine-tuning shock absorbers within customer applications to optimise ride comfort, handling, and stability.
- Subjective Evaluation: Conducting subjective assessments of drives, focusing on vertical and lateral dynamics, as well as noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) characteristics. These evaluations will take place on test tracks and public roads.
- Timely Results: Providing tuning results promptly according to customer specifications.
- Customer Interaction: Serving as a point of contact for customers regarding driving behaviour and handling enquiries.
- Problem Analysis: Identifying issues and managing corrective actions related to chassis performance.
- Collaboration: Working closely with chassis design teams, utilising objective test procedures and simulations to optimise product performance.
- Development of New Applications: Contributing to the development of innovative chassis solutions.
- Education: Completed engineering studies at a technical college or university, with a focus on automotive engineering or an equivalent qualification in chassis technology.
- Proficiency in English.
- Strong knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Passion for Vehicles: An affinity for vehicle development and a genuine interest in automotive technology.
- The ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Excellent verbal and technical communication abilities.
- Willingness to Travel: High willingness to travel for customer interactions and testing (50% of working time).
