The school is actively seeking a compassionate and committed Teaching Assistant to join them on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:00 pm). In this role, you will play a crucial role in equipping students for life through personalized academic and vocational study programs, fostering independence for future employment or further studies.Collaborate with the exceptional educational team to bolster resilience, confidence, self-esteem, emotional intelligence, and overall well-being in these exceptional children and young adults. Your Responsibilities:Assist students during class to ensure they remain on track.Collaborate with the class teacher to maintain a smooth-running class.Enable learners to effectively access the curriculum.Provide support for the pastoral needs of the learners.Actively contribute to creating the learning environment.Offer support to learners on a 1:1 basis and within small groups during various activities.Utilize your interests to engage learners in the educational process.Ideal Candidate Skills and Capabilities:
  • Ability to work with learners facing diverse learning difficulties.
  • Confidence in supporting group activities across different educational subjects.
  • Own transportation (preferred but not essential).
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Teaching and Learning is advantageous but not essential.
  • GCSE Maths and English or equivalent.
