In this role you will be responsible for Managing Enterprise-Wide Internet services running on proxy solutions mainly Zscaler
Your prime area of focus will be to handle Incidents, drive Problem Management with focus on RCA and RCCA in collaboration with larger SME group and domains.
You will be expected to have deep expertise on leading proxy solutions like Zscaler, and other related NW services like Firewalls, Routers, packet captures, GRE tunnels, VPN, DNS services, web filtering and url policy management. Working/conceptual knowledge on other integrated technologies like Okta/Active directory, O365 services would be an additional advantage.
Responsibilities
  • Design and validation of new and current Platform
  • Ability to provide Tier 3 support and manage complex and escalated tickets in production environment
  • Needs to manage relationship and resolve dispute if any between internal and partner stakeholders
  • Drive Service improvement projects across in partnership with internal and partner teams
  • Explore opportunities to optimize and ensure we are in line with customer requirements
  • To maintain a lab environment for training, testing of new services and support of customers
  • Handle standard change request, according to our change control and risk review process
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent subject
  • Candidate with rich experience in Installation, configuration and troubleshooting knowledge on Proxy technology for Business environments.
  • Experience in Installation, configuration and troubleshooting knowledge on Proxies.
  • Should have good understanding with extensive hands-on experience on various Proxy Layer7 technologies for e.g Zscaler.
  • Ability to provide Tier 3 support and manage complex and escalated tickets in production environment.
  • Graduate in engineering/IT
Scripting and Automation
 Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is essential for network engineers. Scripting allows for automation of routine tasks, configuration changes, and monitoring processes.
 Experience with automation frameworks like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef facilitates the automation of network infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.Cloud Networking
 Understanding of cloud networking principles and experience with cloud service providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
 Ability to design, implement, and manage hybrid and multi-cloud network architectures.Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Certification in firewall/Proxy/Networking
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
 Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and their application in network automation workflows.
 Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI for automating the testing and deployment of network configuration changes and automation scripts.
Version Control Systems
 Proficiency in version control systems like Git for managing network configurations, scripts, and automation code.
 Experience with collaborative workflows, branching strategies, and code review processes using Git.
API Integration
 Ability to work with RESTful APIs provided by network devices and management platforms. This includes interacting with APIs to extract network data, perform configuration changes, and automate network operations.
