...about the jobPrimary Responsibilities:Serve as the primary executor for operational functions, ensuring meticulous handling of all assigned corporate events: a) Timely and accurately input corporate event data into relevant systems within specified deadlines. b) Execute processing/actions in strict accordance with operational manuals. c) Immediately report any deviations to designated oversight personnel. d) Maintain full compliance with team's control functions and end-of-day checklists/requirements.Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of corporate action life cycles to guarantee 100% accuracy throughout event lifecycles.Ensure timely escalation (following escalation matrix) to Manager/Checker for any issues posing potential financial loss or client service concerns.Maintain accountability for maintaining satisfactory audit/regulatory/risk ratings, consistently aligning with Group and Company policies and standards requirements, including active involvement in scheduled reviews.Showcase critical and analytical skills, generating ideas and solutions for decision-making based on available references.Conduct periodic reviews of existing procedures, with a focus on efficiency delivery and identification of best practices.Provide comprehensive support to team members on operational activities to ensure comprehensive coverage.Demonstrate adaptability to changes and steadfast support for management decisions.Drive a supportive team environment rooted in people-centric values, promoting change management to achieve business objectives (e.g., process improvements/changes in procedures).Assume responsibilities of Team Manager in their absence, participating actively in process-related discussions and management meetings.Key Requirements:
- Possession of a post-graduate diploma or degree in any discipline.
- Minimum 2-4 years' experience in bank/financial institution within custody operations and/or trade operations and/or fund operations.
- Prior experience in securities processing, particularly in corporate action, is advantageous.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Self-management capabilities for accurate and timely task completion.
- Proficient in spoken and written English, with effective business communication skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to interpret numeric data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong analytical, statistical, and data mining skills for trend analysis and projections.
- Proficient interpersonal skills and networking abilities for relationship-building.
- Effective time management skills for prioritizing workloads and meeting tight deadlines.
