Work with amazing people all around the world and gain insight in manufacturing essential products for everyday living and get answers to your questions like „how to make bread last longer?” The ideal candidate will be responsible for US GAAP and plant accounting, reporting and analyzing data, and other ad hoc requests for information, handling internal, external and tax audit requests.Main responsibilities:

Prepare and post journal entries and perform month-end closings, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations
Prepare and review management reports and financial information analysis on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Continuously improve and optimize General Ledger processes to ensure effective and efficient financial processes
Ensure compliance with the company policies and SOX controls
Interface with external and internal auditors for PBC requests and process and account explanations

Required skills:

Bachelor/Master degree in Accounting or other relevant field of Finance OR Chartered Accountant qualification
Solid English knowledge
At least 1 year of relevant work experience in accounting in a shared service center or at a large company
Advanced understanding of accounting & internal accounting controls
Proactive attitude, strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Previous experience with Microsoft Excel and SAP (or similar ERP system)
