Backend Engineer

• Stakeholder interaction: develop strong working relationships with vendors, external development teams, and business stakeholders to effectively complete projects and solve queries.
• Integration Innovator: Work seamlessly with APIs (including Azure API Management), ensuring all parts of our tech ecosystem communicate fluently and efficiently. Interact with our Loyalty System, Member Management System, App Services, Leads Management System, and 3rd party systems to assist business and provide an awesome experience for our members.
• Coding: build and maintain stable PHP, .NET, and/or Python solutions to enable business requirements. Automate and troubleshoot with Postman and Postman scripts.
• Database Dynamo: Design and manage databases according to a Common Data Model. Query relational and NoSQL databases like MySQL and NoSQL, ensuring data is stored, retrieved, and used optimally.
• Cloud Captain: Navigate the vast skies of Azure services, harnessing its capabilities to power our platforms. Included but not limited to Azure App Service, Azure Dev Ops, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Event Hubs, Azure API Management, Azure Storage
• Problem-solving Prodigy: Analyse challenges from various angles and architect solutions that are both innovative and efficient.

• Tech Titan: A Degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Development Dynamo: Proven proficiency in Python, .NET, PHP, HTML, CSS, and a range of other tech tools that you've wielded in the past.
• Database Deftness: Expertise in managing both MySQL and NoSQL databases, ensuring data's sanctity and swift availability.
• Azure Ace: A robust understanding and hands-on experience with Azure services.
• Integration Intellect: Demonstrable experience working with APIs and ensuring seamless integrations.
• Mobile Mindfulness: A keen understanding of how mobile applications tick, ensuring our mobile experiences are always top-notch.
• Experience with mobile technologies such as Firebase a plus.
• Experience with Streaming Technologies, preferably Azure Event Hub.
• Certification Champion: Any additional certifications in Azure, .NET, or related technologies would be the cherry on top.
• Experience working in an Agile team.

• Up to R90 000 per month.
