Proposal Writer - Permanent - 17320About the OpportunityAre you ready to dive into the dynamic world of proposal writing? We're on the lookout for a talented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for crafting compelling proposals.As a proposal writer, you'll be at the forefront of our mission, developing responses for a diverse range of Government of Canada clients. Your role will involve everything from crafting RFP and/or TA responses to coordinating the entire proposal process with finesse and precision.Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Develop RFP and/or TA responses for a variety of Government of Canada clients
  • Coordinate all aspects of the proposal process from beginning to end
  • Coordinate multiple RFP and/or TA responses concurrently
  • Ensure attention to detail on all required security information, educational documents and other materials for proposal deadlines
  • Working with employees and consultants to prepare resumes and evaluation criteria grids for Government of Canada proposals
  • Interact with employees and consultants to develop content
  • Coordinate the proposal, scheduling the team, and delivering the RFP and/or TA response
  • Use M365 suite and other software tools to compile proposals
About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:
  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in proposal writing and development for Government of Canada (RFPs and TAs)
  • Experience developing responses to Government of Canada RFP's via TBIPS, TSPS, SBIPS, THS, and ProServices
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, and meticulous attention to detail
  • Experience in technical or non-creative business writing is required
  • Excellent time management and ability to work effectively individually and within a team
  • Strong organization skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to learn quickly
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English (French is an asset)
  • Eligible for a Federal Government security clearance
