- Ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of kitchen areas, including dishes, utensils, and work surfaces
- Emptying garbage bins and dispose of waste in a safe and responsible manner
- Operating dishwashing equipment efficiently
- Maintaining kitchen equipment and report any issues to the Executive Chef
- Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Working collaboratively with kitchen staff to meet service requirements
- Following instructions and perform other duties as assigned by Senior Kitchen Staff
- Shifts generally commence at from 3pm and finish around 11pm/12am - so reliable transport is a must! There may be some opportunity for day shifts down for coverage.
- Shifts will vary across 7 days of the week so good flexibility is a must!
- Attention to detail and a strong passion for maintaining a hygienic environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure kitchen setting
- Ability to take direction from Senior Kitchen members
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Ability to perform physical work with bending, lifting, pushing and pulling a requirement of this role
- Previous experience in a similar role in a similar sized environment is preferred
