- Responsibility for organizing and carrying out the basic activities associated with the function: payroll, recruitment, selection and induction of personnel, among others.
- Responsibility for developing a corporate culture in accordance with the company values, mission and vision, and the company's reason for being.
- Accompany managers through the organization of the following activities: recruitment and selection, terminations, crisis management, conflicts, performance evaluation (annual and mid-year), coaching, organizational development, skills development, talent detection and retention, detection of training needs, internships, among others.
- Preparation and updating of HR policies: teleworking, remuneration, travel, training, etc.
- Communicate and implement policies defined by headquarters.
- Organize and supervise the following activities: office management, reception, ticket purchase, corporate events (end of the year, birthdays, etc.) and internal communication.
- Focus on the internal customer, HR is a service area, particularly in support of area managers.
- Approach to optimizing the company's human and financial resources, in particular through the timely use of all forms of contracting permitted by law.
- Participation in the budget and forecast processes, led by the Finance department.
- Bachelors degree plus a minimum of 10+ years of related HRBP experience & HRBP people management.
- Dual fluency in English and Spanish.
- Experienced people manager with a track record of developing and retaining talent.
- Demonstrated track record of developing effective relationships across all levels of the organization and with diverse client groups.
- Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives through the organization and influence decision makers at all levels.
- Strong business acumen.
- Mining industry experience is a plus.
- Ability to diagnose and successfully handle organizational development issues.
- Ability and desire to operate with a high degree of flexibility.
- Knowledge of staffing and compensation strategies, practices and processes.
- Experience in leadership development and being a trusted advisor to C-Level management.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; must be an articulate and persuasive communicator.
- Excellent interpersonal, group, process, and influence skills.
- Ability to conduct group facilitation, coach and counsel management at all levels.
- Extensive knowledge of Chilean and Argentinian labor laws and experience with labor unions.
- Experience working with European companies is a plus.
- Must be available to travel if necessary.
- Must have extensive experience in reporting to management, and speak advanced English for meetings with headquarters.
