- A senior level project manager with strong leadership, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Must have more than 10 years of experience relevant to this position and experience leading cross-functional teams through large/ambiguous change.
- Manage a large-scale ERP Project, preferably an Oracle implementation project (atleast two fusion implementations)
- Work closely with architects, technical teams, functional analysts to deliver project scope on time, on budget and with high quality deliverables.
- Ensure that project team members are well trained and understand Agile processes.
- Host daily stand-up meetings
- Assists the product owner (or functional architects) refine and maintaining the product backlog using the information gathered from the daily stand-up meetings
- Mentor to smoothly onboard new employees and new team members to understand the product's scope and vision and ensure that team members understand and adhere to Scrum practices and rules.
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Implement Project Management/Best Practices
- Introduce Agile Engineering Practices
- Removes any distractions or roadblocks that can hinder the progress of the team
- Maintain metrics can help measure the work done by scrum teams and the value delivered to customers
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding the project, technology, and functionality.
- Use Oracle experience to develop accurate work estimates, project budgets and timelines.
- Demonstrated ability to follow solid project management principles and successfully manage projects of increasing complexity.
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills to deal with internal stakeholders, customers, and vendors.
- Oracle technology or manufacturing/ distribution industry expertise (Fusion Cloud preferable)
- Ensure client satisfaction targets are achieved.
- Exercise required controls and proposed improvements as required, including quality plans, issues and action logs, risk management plans and change control plans, for all aspects of the assignment.
- Lead the delivery team, drive desired professional behaviours and motivate the team to the highest levels of performance and ensure that team resources have the best conditions to perform successfully.
- Ensure business and assignment risks are identified, monitored, and managed to achieve minimal disruption to the project delivery and success
