Join a team recognized for leadership, innovation and diversityWe have an opportunity for Systems Reliability Engineer to join us at Honeywell Aerospace, in Brno, where you will be part of a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly complex and reliable systems like Flight Control System for small, medium and large aircraft within Honeywell Aerospace. You will be responsible for creating system solutions that meet the evolving needs of our You will work on key products and could be involved also in other strategic aerospace (incl. space) programs.This is a hybrid role, 3 days in office, 2 from home.Since the invention of autopilot in 1914, we've been a leader in innovation for the Air Travel industry. Ensure compliance to industry standards ARP4754 and ARP4761.
Analyze system / safety requirements (FHA) and determine criticality of the system functions and items.
Decompose the safety requirements using analytical methods (FTA, FMEA) and define safety measures and assumptions.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders / customers to ensure the safety measures and assumptions are correctly allocated and understood.
Verify the safety measures are correctly implemented (System / SW / HW reviews, CMA).

Key skills and qualifications

University degree in engineering field
Knowledge of FMEA / FTA methods
Elementary knowledge of one (or more) of the following standards SAE ARP 4754A / SAE ARP4761 / IEC 61508 / ISO 26262 / EN 50129
Ability to quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts
Self-motivation, ability to work with little supervision, can-do attitude
