- Provide financial support to our business operations and finance leadership.
- Responsible for preparation of forecasts and annual business plan through regular engagement with stakeholders.
- Partner with operations to improve processes for forecasting, budgeting and in-depth ad hoc analysis.
- Financial and operational stewardship reporting and analysis.
- Produce and support quarterly reporting to the Board of Directors.
- Ad-hoc analyses as required.
- Provide informal leadership, guidance and coaching to analysts.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Must be able to maintain good working relationship and partner well with operations and senior leaders.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong knowledge of MS office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Professional designation such as CPA (Chartered Professional Accountant) or CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst).
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in finance or accounting.
- Experience in Cognos/TM1 is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of financial budgeting, planning, and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of financial processes.
