  • Play an integral role in the development of the Transportation, Distribution, & Logistics (TD&L) Incurred and Cost to Serve budgets.
  • Support the preparation of Commercial SG&A budgets & forecasts; provide insights and recommendations for Commercial leaders based on analysis of actuals and forecasts
  • Support monthly forecasting and stewardship reporting for the TD&L Incurred costs and Cost to Serve values
  • Provide valuable insights through the analysis and aggregation of multiple data sets, extracting complex financial outputs in a manner that is understandable and actionable by management
  • Provide ad-hoc decision support including analysis & reporting as well as involvement in relevant TD&L projects to business partners
  • Support TD&L capital projects including reporting, cost allocation, spend and depreciation forecasts
  • Work closely with the TD&L Finance team to support the business with interpretation and implementation of accounting policies
  • Support TD&L condition rate and liquidation analysis with insights that lead to improved accuracy of forecasts and communication with partners
  • Assist with the automation of manual activities and/or enhancement of data cubes/dashboards to improve ease of use and value provided to TD&L and other stakeholders
  • Support various continuous improvement and strategic initiatives across Finance and TD&L
  • Perform other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
  • Post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a related field
  • Professional accounting or finance designation preferred
  • Reputation as a valued and trusted business partner
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent MS Office skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with MSS/SSL and SAP ECC required; HANA and SAP IBP experience an asset
  • Experience with Nutrien's TD&L network, systems and operations an asset
