- Play an integral role in the development of the Transportation, Distribution, & Logistics (TD&L) Incurred and Cost to Serve budgets.
- Support the preparation of Commercial SG&A budgets & forecasts; provide insights and recommendations for Commercial leaders based on analysis of actuals and forecasts
- Support monthly forecasting and stewardship reporting for the TD&L Incurred costs and Cost to Serve values
- Provide valuable insights through the analysis and aggregation of multiple data sets, extracting complex financial outputs in a manner that is understandable and actionable by management
- Provide ad-hoc decision support including analysis & reporting as well as involvement in relevant TD&L projects to business partners
- Support TD&L capital projects including reporting, cost allocation, spend and depreciation forecasts
- Work closely with the TD&L Finance team to support the business with interpretation and implementation of accounting policies
- Support TD&L condition rate and liquidation analysis with insights that lead to improved accuracy of forecasts and communication with partners
- Assist with the automation of manual activities and/or enhancement of data cubes/dashboards to improve ease of use and value provided to TD&L and other stakeholders
- Support various continuous improvement and strategic initiatives across Finance and TD&L
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Post-secondary degree in Finance or Accounting with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in a related field
- Professional accounting or finance designation preferred
- Reputation as a valued and trusted business partner
- Demonstrated ability to balance multiple competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Excellent MS Office skills including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with MSS/SSL and SAP ECC required; HANA and SAP IBP experience an asset
- Experience with Nutrien's TD&L network, systems and operations an asset
