- Coordinate and track the financial data of continually changing records
- Calculate refunds for applicable accounts
- Complete deposit processes
- Keying of cheque deposits and third party payments
- Prepare and mail out statements and tax receipts
- Demonstrate exceptional customer and client services
- Act as the primary contact for issues relating to the unit
- Other related duties as assigned
- Post-secondary education focused on accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration
- 1 2 years experience in a similar, busy accounting support role
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and the ability to learn new programs quickly. Experience using Yardi is a strong asset
- Previous experience in the healthcare or hospitality sector is an asset
- Strong attention to detail with quick and accurate data entry skills
- Ability to process high volumes of data in a timely manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively and effectively with both customers and other internal departments
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
