The Construction Trades Department is seeking a full-time sessional Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Instructor starting August 15, 2024. This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to instruct in a variety of courses within the department.What We Offer

- A Journeyperson Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) with Red Seal certification (preferably an Alberta Journeyperson with completion of Apprenticeship) with several years related industrial experience.
- Dual ticket preferred, Millwright, Machinist or Welder.
- Additional desirable qualifications include: related technology diploma or related degree.
- Candidates must be professionals who have strong communication, planning, and goal setting skills; be flexible; confident; a team player; and are committed to student motivation and achievement.
- Teaching experience would be an asset in addition to the following:- proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- strong organizational and multi-tasking skills;
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- ability to build strong relationships across the organization;
