Phasor offers engineering services, commissioning group, and panel fabrication shop to provide single-source responsibility to substation owners.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Intermediate or a Senior level SCADA Engineer located in Edmonton, AB, working on high voltage substation design and development.

Assist with SCADA systems design for substations in accordance with applicable Client codes, standards and procedures
Assist configuring Data concentrators, RTU, HMI, switches and other SCADA related devices
On site commissioning support

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or computer engineering from a reputable university and the eligibility to register with APEGA
Electrical Engineering and Power Systems skills
SCADA, Human Machine Interface skills
Troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of C++, Python, and MATLAB programming languages is an assest
Experience with SEL, Eaton, Siemens, ABB, and GE equipment is an asset
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is preferred
