- Provide support and contract oversight on a portfolio of projects with Project Managers across multiple regions and business units
- Attend regular meetings with the Project Delivery Team on the financial status of projects
- Ensure the project is setup and updated accurately and mirrors the contract, and that addendums and change orders support the contract value that is loaded into the system
- Work with the Project Delivery Team to ensure timely project reviews are performed, ETCs and EACs prepared, updated and any financial issues related to earnings, cash-flow, and reporting are addressed
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards and corporate policies, especially as it pertains to Percentage of Completion for revenue recognition purposes, as well as corresponding contract validation
- Possess an in-depth knowledge of the company’s revenue and costing methodologies and provides expertise to the Project Delivery Team
- Assess project financial risks and assist in updating the project risk register and revenue adjustments as needed
- Assist Project Managers and the Financial Analyst through the financial lifecycle of a project
- Support the Operations Finance Team on periodic reporting and analysis including Project KPI’s, Regional Results, and Cashflow
- Work with the finance team during month end close as required
- Support the project management team on the use of project analysis tools
- University Degree in a related field
- 5+ years of work experience with relevance to project finance in construction
- Experience with reporting and analytics is an asset
- Experience working on ERP systems with specific project management modules
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential
- Solid understanding of accounting standards and policies, especially as it pertains to POC, and internal project controls
