Azure Architect

• Design and architect cloud solutions using Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure security, and other Azure services.
• Implement and deploy cloud solutions using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, ARM templates, and other tools.
• Optimize and troubleshoot cloud performance, availability, scalability, and security.
• Provide hands-on engineering support for cloud projects and issues.
• Conduct cloud assessments, migrations, and audits.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features, trends, and best practices.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with other cloud engineers, developers, project managers, and stakeholders.
• Lead discovery sessions with clients to identify business pains & objectives.
• Facilitate architectural discussions with customers to understand business requirements and recommend appropriate cloud solutions.
• Develop strategies, policies, and best practices for clients.
• Advise clients on building scalable, fault-tolerant enterprise cloud architectures.
• Lead teams in the design and deployment of cloud solutions, including Azure Landing Zones, cloud-native application deployments, data center migrations, security, identity/access management, and disaster recovery.
• Collaborate with the sales team to create and deliver client proposals.
• Conduct small and large group presentations to clients, industry groups, and internal peer groups.
• Provide billable consulting services for Azure engagements.

• At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or administration.
• At least 3 years of experience in Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure security, and other Azure services.
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure, networking, storage, identity, security, and governance.
• Proficient in Azure DevOps, PowerShell, ARM templates, and other cloud tools.
• Experience in Windows Virtual Desktop, Azure Active Directory, Azure Sentinel, Azure Firewall, and other Azure security solutions.
• Experience in hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and cloud-native architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Expertise as an Azure Solutions Architect across multiple industries.
• Experience with moving clients to the cloud using Azure IaaS and PaaS services.
• Deep knowledge of the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Understanding of Infrastructure-as-code technologies for deploying to Microsoft Azure.
• Contagious enthusiasm for continuous learning.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep technical experience in multiple areas, including Application Design, Systems Operations/Management, Database architecture, Virtualization, Networking, Cloud Security, Azure IaaS, Azure PaaS.
• Oversight experience on major digital transformation projects.
• Proficiency in Azure Networking, including virtual networks, load balancers, VPN gateways, and network security groups.
• Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards and best practices for cloud services, such as ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
• Ability to monitor, audit, and report on compliance status and changes using Azure tools and third-party solutions.
• Experience in designing and implementing backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure resources and applications, using Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and other tools.
• Knowledge of migration methods and tools for moving workloads from on-premises or other cloud providers to Azure, such as Azure Migrate, Azure Data Box, and Azure Database Migration Service.
