Are you an experienced Field Technician looking for a new permanent opportunity? If you have mechanical experience, we want to chat with you!Looking to add a personable, professional to this growing team of garage door techs in Winnipeg!This is a permanent, full time, daytime role in East Winnipeg.The ideal candidate is willing to learn with a positive attitude and minimum 6- 8 months experience. Looking to have this person grow towards an overhead door tech certificate.The chosen candidate will be working in teams for on site installs as well as learning from senior techs at the shop.Advantages

-Assisting in the service and install of garage doors - both commercial and residential
-Working with hand tools, electric tools and ladders (must be comfortable with heights)
-Working with warehouse staff, exernal customers and other trades people in a safe and professional manner
-General warehouse dutiesQualifications
-Must be able to lift up to 50lb
-Strong work ethic, and ability to work in a team environment
-Mechanical aptitue a must
-Previous safety training an asst (WHMIS, Fall protection, first aid etc.)
-Must be able to work outside in all different weather conditions, including cold and extreme heat
-Must be able to pass pre-employment health screening, includes drug, alcohol and health assessment
-Current drivers abstract with valid license requiredSummary
