Travel: $220 weekly, if 80 km away from locationOne time Travel Pay: $600Duties and Responsibilities:Operate various types of cranes, including over 10 ton overhead cranesPerform pre-operational inspections and maintenance on cranesInterpret load charts and rigging plans to determine safe lifting proceduresCommunicate with ground personnel using hand signals or radio communicationEnsure that all lifting operations are conducted safely and efficientlyAdhere to all safety regulations and company policiesRequirements and Qualifications:Eligible to work in Canada and resided in Canada for 5 yearsValid crane operator certification/licensePrevious experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial settingKnowledge of crane operation techniques, safety procedures, and rigging practicesStrong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentAbility to pass a pre-employment Government Security Clearance/Background and Credit checkFull PPE and Fit Tested Respirator Mask requiredAbility to handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment weighing up to 50lbs or moreComfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in inclement weatherWillingness to support extended hours and overtime as neededDaily commute to work required.Don't miss out on this Crane Operator job opportunities in Halifax, NS.
