- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the teams effectiveness
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime periods
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, ensuring timely and effective resolution of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
- Conduct regular inspections to identify signs of wear, damage, or potential failures
- Initiate and execute maintenance projects to address equipment upgrades, modifications, or replacements as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and equipment performance metrics
- Generate reports on equipment reliability, maintenance costs, and downtime for management review
- Licensed 433A Millwright
- Proven experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical components
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory requirements in an industrial setting
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency maintenance situations
