- Planning, organizing, and managing a diverse array of projects, people, and tasks;
- Understanding and managing project revenue;
- Liaising and negotiating with other partners, clients, regulators, contractors, and sub-contractors;
- Writing high-quality reports, cost estimates, and proposals;
- Creating project status reports and maintaining project documentation;
- Leading technical teams to ensure the quality, cost, and timeliness of deliverables;
- Contributing specialist expertise to multi-disciplinary projects;
- Providing mentorship and training for our environmental professional team;
- Providing excellent service to existing clients and maintaining those relationships;
- Supporting corporate business development initiatives;
- Ensuring client’s and Triton’s safety standards are maintained or exceeded; and
- Working collaboratively within Triton corporate culture.
- Degree or diploma in a related field (environmental science, biology, agrology, ecology);
- Knowledge of and experience with relevant federal and provincial legislation, environmental standards, regulations and guidelines;
- Experience with project management, leading projects, as well as leading project teams (i.e., budgeting, project tracking, cost-accounting and scope control) and with the leadership and supervision of project teams.
- Direct experience in an environmental consulting firm would be an asset;
- A quick learner, easily adapting to new software applications, systems, and business processes;
- Effective writing skills, and ability to produce meaningful reports and proposals;
- Superbly organized and self-managed, with a collaborative working style;
- Strong problem solver able to address challenges with effective solutions that improve systems and/or relationships, and with the ability to think outside the box;
- Accreditation or eligibility for accreditation with professional governing body recognized in BC (R.P. Bio, P.Ag., AScT.) is an asset;
- Valid driver's license from a Canadian province or Territory acceptable for driving alone and with passengers in a work setting.
