Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, draft, and revise documents for various commercial transactions, including commercial lending and the purchase/sale of commercial properties
  • Liaise with firm lawyers, paralegals, clients, and external parties
  • Conduct and report on due diligence searches for various commercial transactions
  • Manage a portfolio of assigned files for corporate commercial lawyers, ensuring timely and accurate completion of multiple deadlines
  • Process received funds by firm procedures
  • Independently draft routine correspondence and communicate with clients when appropriate
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Diploma in paralegal studies or equivalent
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a Commercial paralegal role
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Maintains professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion
  • Exercises good judgment with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly motivated, self-directed, and capable of prioritizing and handling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
