- Performed skilled painting and rust prevention of parts and equipment as per drawing
- Read and interpret manuals, product guides, and material safety data sheet
- Prepare surface for painting or repainting by pressure washing
- Prepare work surface for painting by applying masking tape over surface
- Prepare and mix paint to match specified color codes
- Apply prime and finish paints and rust preventative materials to a variety of surfaces
- Operate and maintain tools and equipment usedQualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience painting products, components, sub assemblies as per drawing specifications
- Hands on experiencing using sand blasters, sanding, airless painting and electrostatic sprayers
- Methods, material, tools, and equipment used in the Industrial Painting Trade
- Methods and practices of cleaning and maintaining equipment and supplies
- Hazardous waste disposal methodsSummary
