We are currently seeking a dynamic Intermediate Project Manager to join a Planning team for an established Engineering and Environmental consulting firm. You will bring your expertise in environmental/planning and project management to a role where collaboration and engagement drive success. You should possess strong initiative, and exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. Occasional travel within Ontario is required to engage with communities and clients, whilst you will be provided with a generous hybrid and flexible work environment, with in-office attendance as necessary.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborating with First Nation communities and Municipal clients on a range of infrastructure, environmental, energy, and planning initiatives.
  • Generating technical and planning reports by analyzing data using Microsoft Suite tools.
  • Taking the lead in engaging with communities and clients, including delivering presentations.
  • Ensuring timely and budget-compliant preparation of reports, proposals, and other necessary documentation.
  • Coordinating project delivery schedules, managing logistics, assisting with budget tracking and invoicing, and serving as the primary point of contact for team members and clients.
  • Communicating complex project information effectively to both clients and peers.
  • Utilizing Microsoft and other relevant software for data management, input, and analysis.
  • Actively contributing to problem-solving efforts within project teams.
  • Providing support to senior project management staff across various projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least five (5) years of relevant project management experience in Environmental or Planning fields in Canada.
  • Completion of post-secondary education in Environmental, Planning, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated strong prioritization and organizational abilities, adept at handling large volumes of data.
  • Thrive in fast-paced environments, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, whether independently or within a team.
  • Initiates action and possesses strong research capabilities to communicate innovative ideas effectively.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Flexible to travel across Ontario, including remote areas, as per client requirements.
