- Project Planning and Execution: Develop and manage agile project plans for the product implementation, ensuring adaptability and flexibility; oversee end-to-end implementation, ensuring alignment with product objectives.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between the development team, product team and translating user needs into actionable project requirements; facilitate effective communication with all levels of stakeholders.
- Agile Leadership: Champion agile principles, promoting iterative development and continuous improvement; Support sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Resource Management: Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient project milestone achievement; optimize resource allocation for maximum efficiency.
- Relationship Management: Our users and our leadership are our clients. Cultivate strong relationships, ensuring exceptional service; communicate project status, address concerns, and exceed client expectations; prepare and deliver briefing materials, reports, analysis on key issues and project documentation, ensuring accuracy.
- Lead/facilitate the project team through the project chartering and planning processes building commitment to the charter and plan. Work closely with activity managers to plan, schedule and coordinate project tasks. Monitor and manage efforts of project team, including both internal and external resources (vendors/consultants) to complete assigned project tasks. Conduct scheduled, periodic meetings with the Project Team and Project Sponsors. Identify and diagnose problems and take corrective action as required. Manage deviations from plan; conflict/crises.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and proactively manage project risks, developing mitigation strategies; address challenges promptly, ensure adherence to timelines.
- Conclude the work upon completion or premature cessation of project. Formalize acceptance of project and bring it to closure. Ensure satisfactory transfer of “care, custody and control” of product or service upon satisfaction. Close project documentation and archive appropriate records.
- Five (5) years’ experience managing Information Technology projects and/or international projects with concepts, principles and techniques of structured project planning and management and stakeholder relations
- PMP certification preferred but not mandatory
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a MUST
- Attention to detail and flawless execution of daily tasks
- Comfortable working in workflow management software
- Work additional hours when necessary to meet client expectations
- Assist in any additional responsibilities, as directed by management.
- Comply with all SGS&Co standards, applicable regulations and departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
- Comply with SGS&c EH&S policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
